I flew at 5 months and was fine. There was some ankle and foot swelling but it went down soon after. Other than that, it was a healthy pregnancy, my doctor ok'd it and the airline people didn't look twice.
It should be. Most people can fly till about 8 months. After that, they need a doctor's ok. Depending on when in January she's due, she only 5-6 months along, so it should be fine.
Its perfectly fine for her to fly right now, even right until december(depending on when in jan,she is due).Just make sure she can possably get an aisle seat for bathroom trips and getting up to strecth her legs.
yes im due in jan as well and im taking a flight tomorrow from south texas to colorado. i asked my doc and he said flying is perfectly fine but driving is a no no! if you do drive long distances he said to take breaks to stretch out and to get circulation going back.
