Low Testosterone Question?
I'm 17 years old and I was diagnosed with Low T a few months ago. The doctor prescribed me Androgel. I've been on it for months and it sucks. No changes in testosterone at all. It's also very irritating on my skin. I want to switch to injections because they're cheaper and more efficient and I can be done with testosterone replacement therapy sooner rather than rubbing that hand sanitizer crap on my skin for 6 months. Should I make an appointment or am I wasting my time? Also, I'm in excellent shape. 5'7 160lbs, 5% body fat, and I do fitness competitions. Please help!!!

I know what I'm talking about when it comes to Tes. Androgel is a waste of money...does nothing. Injections only way to go, but must be Inter muscular (in *** is probably best, but I do rear of shoulder...never do front...too many nerves to damage). If you live in big city /metropolitan areas, you will be able to find docs who specialize in testosterone replacement...they will help you if your labs show less than 300ul in normal man...300-1000ul is normal. IF you start injections, know that your testicles are going to shrink considerably...and I mean considerably! Your sex drive will vary in waves, and in fact will probably decrease if you adjust your body's tes. IF you are pleased with muscle mass, why do you even consider outside testosterone (other than bone density...big problem with low testosterone). For you, once a week , .3ml of 200mg Tes in oil suspension for time release, IM....once a week will get your tes up to about 500 ul within 3 weeks.
