Do not pay anyone for helping you with loan modification I work with evictions everyperson i talk to got riped of. not even an attorney can help you.what you need to do is find a non profit organization in youre area that will help you for free. If youre in california look in dre.ca.org or google it or call me if you are in california 951-787-0006 if any one knows someone that can actually do a loan modification call me i been in the business for a while dont know one not even an attorneys everyone is so full of it excuse me is just so sad to see people getting ripped off left and right.
You are NOT being ripped off for paying a reputable loan modification company to do your loan modification. If you know they are with the BBB and/or local chamber of commerce, have an attorney on staff or available and are not obvious former real estate agents, loan officers or car salesman trying to get you to send in your money right away then that may be the place for you.
But, You ARE being ripped off if you pay over $3,000. If you pay $1,000 to $2,500 it is normal. You can tell who is the common salesman and not really trying to help you, don't work with them,
Although, if you have the time to be on the phone daily with different depts. and like one person said have patience with being run around and them possibly losing paperwork then go ahead and do it yourself.
loan modification companies who have it sent using an attorney don't encounter these problems as much as the common consumer.
I would make copies of everything you send and document who you spoke with. LoanSafe website has some excellent information but again there are many dissatisfied people there. They give you their whole story. If you want to save money you need to spend some time learning the ins and outs of the process which also means "time is money" You could be working or taking care of your family, or looking for a new job in this declining economy.
I think one can do it themself if they have the determination. Buy a Loan modification kit for $200 or thereabouts from the site below. It should be a good guide to help you save in these difficult times.
Also, it depends on who is your lender / bank as to how fast they will respond and possibly work with you. There is no one true system that works with all lenders. I hope that helps you or someone else. We all need help to spot these greedy shark companies out there.
I think first of all you have to contact some mortgage lenders in your area who guide you for loan modification or many online sources provides the loan modification you just fill the form and apply for loan modification after they call you or contact you at your filled address.
I know the company which is best for you http://www.refinancing101.net/ is a America’s leading direct online lender dedicated to delivering the best and easy loan modification services.
