it's possible, babies have lived as early as 23 weeks. At your stage, the biggest concern would be lung development. If a baby can't breathe properly, it means a hospital stay is possible, which means the child has an increased risk of infection. And with that comes the possiblity of fetal demise.
Chances of your baby living at this point is very high. Although something could still go wrong it's a slim chance. I was born at 30 weeks and now I'm 19 years young healthy with my first baby on the way. I also have a friend who's little boy was born at just 29 weeks and was born in great condition. He had to stay in the hospital for a week or so, but hes a very healthy 8 month old now. I'm currently 29 weeks and 5 days and I couldn't imagine having him now, but babies come when they want.
I am not a doctor but i can tell you this.. My sister had her baby 4 weeks prem so she was just 8 months pregnant. he had to be in the humidy crib for about 1 weeks then he came out.. this boy is now 8 yrs old, healthy and doing well. I also grew up with a boy who was born 9 weeks prem so that was less than 7 months pregnant when he was born and he is now a big 34 yrs old.. Everything depends on your individual curcumstances and if you are having problems you should see a doctor. ideally the baby should be in there until at least 37 weeks. good luck
My husband was born when his mom was 5 1/2 weeks pregnant and he is not almost 27. My mom was very early weighing on 32 ounces. so yes there is a good chance the baby will be fine. However! do not do anything you shouldnt to make your self go into labor. Your baby needs to develop off of you for as long as possible. The lungs and heart arent fully matured until the end of the pregnancy.
Yea they will be able to survive. There has been a girl that had a baby girl at 4 months and once They started growing up and stuff She was just like a normal baby(: It will be okay, They'll be fine.
I am no doctor however, I had twins at 26 1/2 (6+months)weeks gestaion and they are alive and healthy. At first they wer enot healthy, they were love birth weights and a few issues but otherwise.....The longer the better but a baby can certainly live at 7 months gestation.
had my son 6 weeks early a year ago in June. I was contracting for 10 weeks and on bed rest, he is perfectly fine. He was in the NICU for only 9 days. It is definitely possible, if you're not having any problems and the baby is good don't worry too much about it, but I know you are always curious about the what if's that why we are the moms, always having to know everything about everything concerning our kids. good luck with some peace of mind god bless you and your baby

It is possible. my best friend went into labor with her first two at 7 1/2 months and had healthy babies. But it is best to wait as long as possible.
Infants born after 29 weeks tend to have a 90% survival rate.
