Is walking around in yout socks in public a sign that you are a lesbian?
I like to rollerblade so sometimes I take them off and go into stores and places in my socks. I had one lesbian hit on me and two other people tell me they heard it was a lesbian sign.
Is that one of the things that shows up on "gaydar"?
Update:Yes this is a real question, and no they werent rainbow socks. I am pretty certain they were either plain white ones, or maybe white with pink toes.

I think it is a regional thing. I travel A lot and usually don;t wear shoes in hotel lobbies and places like that. I have noticed other lesbians in the midwest doing the smae thing, and have hooked up a couple fo times. I think it is a Chicago/Detroit and maybe Kansas City thing.
You know something, I just came back from vacation and a lady really set off my gaydar and she wore socks around the place, everywhere she went... I don't think it made her a lesbian, just a personal preference. lol
i think what it is, is that it shows a bit of daring. alot of people are afraid of doing things other people will see as wierd, or as abnormal, or will make someone pass judgement on them. and i have found that in alot of queer people, that either doesnt exist or is alot less.
so maybe she was just attacted to the daring, and figured you would take it as a compliment if you were straight, as aposed to being afraid as most would be.
i have never heard that but interesting. i doubt it though just a gay rumor :) just like every awkwad silence a gay baby is born hehe
