Is he gay?
There's this guy I like and I can't tell if he's interested in me. He's an actor and two plays he's done were gay plays. One he plays the brother of a straight guy and the other he plays a closeted gay guy. He appears on stage in his briefs and kisses the other guy. But the thing is he acts straight and there's women around him a lot but it doesn't seem like he dates any or if so, for very long. He has no long term girlfriend that I know of. He's also 31. Your take?

Ask him out on a date and see what he says. That's the only mature way to find out for sure.
Just because he doesn't have a long term girlfriend proves nothing. He could have a long term girlfriend or wife and still be gay, just in the closet.
tell him if the plays he acted was true of him or he just wants to become an actor no matter what it is. like brokeback mountain that actor jack played one gay guy, but he is not really gay at all
