I got a U.S. Penny stuck in my seat belt latch. I have tried tweezers, nose pliers, and even a magnet (Turns out U.S. coins are not magnetic). That penny is lodged in there nicely and I am unable to latch my seat belt.
To make matters worse the seat belt sensor makes a beeping noise every minute or so. My daily drive is 45 minutes to work and over an hour going home (due to traffic). I have a Honda Accord 2008. Has anyone dealt with this issue before or have any reasonable suggestions on how to remove a coin from the seat belt latch?

you will need to replace it also you can remove the chime or the fuse untill you get one. Also if you want to save money call around the salvage yards and you can get one in excellent condition for like half price and a warranty.
Had the same problem, except my seatbelt was stuck in the latch along with the penny. When I released and pulled the seatbelt the penny would lodge itself in the square hole and was locked in. No real good answers to be found so here is a solution for future internet surfers...
Solution: use a metal bar from a hanging file folder; at both ends they have hook-like things. Snap it in half so you have two parts. Push one hook end down into the seatbelt (I pushed mine down and at the same time pushed the red seatbelt release button), my seatbelt popped out! I was half-way there. With the end still pushed in hard as though the seatbelt is in (push it in as far as it will go), fish the penny toward the front of the seatbelt buckle with the hook of the other rod. Then when the penny is fully out from under the red release button, pull the rods out slowly.
Wear eye protection as the spring action and the close work could cause the rod to propel into your eye ball.
I don't know how a US penny compares to a 1 cent (Euro) coin but I got a 1c coin stuck in my seat belt latch on my Ford Focus. I managed to get it out with two thin screwdrivers.
Better see a Honda dealer. May have to cut that buckle off and crimp on another.
Either unbolt the buckle from the car and tip it upside down, or just tip the car upside down..
get a bad *** vacuum to suck it out, our any good ex-girlfriends...
