How would you survive in zombie apocalypse?
These are walkers from the tv show called The Walking Dead. The apocalypse had just begun. You are in your house while you watch the "destruction" happening on the news. You look outside and there's walkers everywhere. How would you survive? Where will you go? Who will you take with you?
I personally would sneak my way out to the back window. Get my 2 german shepherds in the backyard and hopefully they wont bark. Get them inside my pickup truck and just head to the nearest airport. Mostly because its big and full of supplies. Build a fence or barricade to the defend it and if things get too messy then i'll pilot one of those planes. But just the small ones.

I already have several guns and lots of ammo and I have a backpack already packed with survival supplies for emergencies/natural disasters. Just grab those things and the extra fuel I have in my garage, get in my Jeep and head to my work. My work is a warehouse on the outskirts of town. Grab my other emergency supplies I keep in my locker, raid the warehouse and then head to my aunt's farm about 60 miles away using back roads.
I'd risk using melee weapons, they last longer and aren't hard to find. I don't think the walkers would be that hard to kill anyway, I'll take advantage of my own mobility unlike in video games that when you're near a zombie, it's hard to escape. As for food, I'll just stick with my trustworthy friends and family and find food or maybe create a camp that'll help me.
I think i would gather supplies and family or friends if they were still alive then i would attempt to find a high ground area like a large hill or mountain that was suitable for living. I feel like zombies, being a decaying body, would not walk up a hill or mountain because like they would travel the path of least resistance.
Find weapons, automatics equipped with a silencer and find a trust worthy group. Stack up on food and supplies. Attempt to pilot a plane to a secluded island. Then... Wait it out...
Fence? Barricade? I have no need for such a thing. Years of training have made me invincible. My body is steel. If necessary, I will defeat every single zombie that stands in my path.
