So im about to start 8th grade next week & im not sure how to do well (get good grades). Everyone says im smart (teachers, parents, friends..) but i dont work hard.. I dont know HOW to work hard! I want to get all A's (nothing below an 93) & i REALLY want to go to Yale. Grades count for college in 9th grade, but im freakin out & i need to start doing good this year... Plz help!
Also, in 6th & 7th grade, i was a B-C & once in a while a D student, but that was because i never did homework or studied... I need some motovation & study tipssss(:

Do yourself up a study timetable. Set aside 2 hours for homework and then break up another two hours into short 15 minute sessions of each subject. That's a lot of work done in 4 hours and if you do that everyday for the whole year , you will be on a role.
The key to keep yourself focused is to set realistic achievable goals for yourself. All these little goals will be better for you in the long run than trying to burn out to achieve a large goal that is out of your reach
