The best gift you could give your mother is your love and appreciation <3

Ha, you didn't believe me one second there, did ya? Well, try and be creative, then!
For example, you could make a collage for her with pictures of the family. Okay, maybe it sounds corny, but if you have an imagination, it could turn out brilliant.
I did one for my room, I put pictures of the whole family, me and my brothers and sisters when we were just kids, and my parents when they were still young and "dating". All the images are superposed and there's not one blank space that's not filled with memories.
Eid is meant to be spent with family... Try and offer a gift that everyone can enjoy.
Oh, and I forgot to add that a "creative" gift is so much better than something you can just purchase at the shop down the street. You work on it, and it comes from the heart.
Well there's the usual stuff like a giant bouquet of flowers, jewelery, a nice suit (although most guys are rubbish when it comes to picking out a nice suit!), a religious gift, a nice big cake for Eid, or give her a gift voucher to use at her favourite store.
We have always given something to our parents, now that we are married and provide for ourselves. The gifts vary from a nice sari to cash, depending on the situation. This year it's cash, cause they're going to India in December. This way they can buy whatever they like.
Buy yo momma a play station 2 with a grand collection of Super Mario video games!
..or you could just be typical and boring & buy her some flowers or perfume or something like that but I think she will appreciate the PS2 much more. Plus, if she doesn't use it, then you can! How cool is that?

I think getting ur mum a gift is *so* sweet, go for it. :)
Get her something she will get use out of, and not something she will just put away, to 'use another time' take thought into it.
