If the person wins their appeal(s), they can have their account restored. To win your appeal(s), you have to prove that you were truly not in violation of the ToS/Community Guidelines. It is generally the case that people who appeal do not win, because they were, in fact, violating the Community Guidelines or ToS in some way. A few DO win their appeals, however.
You have 10 days to appeal each violation notice. So, unfortunately, the account you're speaking of is probably permanently deleted.
Yes it's gone forever.Only a very small percentage of suspended accounts are ever restored. When someone is suspended, they can appeal and if successful, their account will be reinstated. There is a limited time in which to submit an appeal however, probably a week or so.In your case the time for submitting the appeal is long gone.
Unless users can convince Customer Care the suspension was an error, their Answers accounts are gone forever. Remember there are rare cases when the suspension was overturned on appeal while the significant majority will not.
Yes, but ONLY if you win your appeal -- and there is a limited time to appeal.
Personally, I know of at least a dozen folks that have had their suspended accounts restored. I'm sure there are many more. But it is a VERY small percentage of them.
