do people still act like teens in college?
Will i ever get a chance to LIVE?
I am a incoming junior in highschool and I go to a small private conservative highschool where nothing is going on, everyone is anti-social. I have yet to get drunk or smoke weed, which i guess I'm okay with because idk how much of that ide want to do anyone, but I do wanna live a little. I mean, just party and socialize and the TEENAGE LIFE maybe a lil drinking,(without going to far off course),
so i was wondering, do people STILL do the same stuff in COLLEGE as highschool? will i be able to make up for lost time or will everyone already be all grown up?
it would help if it was the case cause i can just comfort myself by saying its okay i can do that stuff in college..

(I know i can make friends out of school now, but everyone I know is either crazy and snorts coke and does party drugs, or they go to my school and have no life, so I am stuck)

The thing about college is that it will allow you to meet many different types of people.
Lots of people there revel in their new found freedom and embrace the party opportunities offered, lots want to leave behind whatever they felt was oppressing them in high school, others embrace academia, interest groups or any number of other lifestyle choices. Chances are you'll meet lots of like minded people in college.
In the meantime, don't be in such a hurry to grow up- there are bound to be clubs/teams either in your school or locally that you can join.
Ok dude. I have been to some college parties that put anythin I ever seen in highschool to shame....bad.
Those college dudes know how to party. I imagine they do cuz they got more experience at it.
Skip the drug parties tho (except weed....weed ain't a drug to me really). If u stick to just drinkin and smokin weed u will likely be ok....unless u go off the deep end with it. I have been to some pretty wild parties that didn't have nothin but beer.
Trust me... even tho I ain't got to college yet, I got lotsa friends there and they do it up good. U will love university dude.
listen everybody has an inner child college kids just decide to express it more because most of the them are either innner city upstate preppy mommy and daddy's kids that never got to do what they really wanted to do.so now that they're alone they do it cause mommy and daddy arent watching. listen you might be able to experience that stuff when your in college because party's do occur trust but take it easy one step at a time please go to an out of state or upstate school somewhere where you can live and get the hands on experience yourself just party hardy when you want to and hit the books also (emotional walls)

don't worry theres a lot of other people in college that seem to mature, and then theres those who don't<----chill with them =]
Your still a teenager in college so depending on our personality and level of maturity of course you'll still do teenaged things. College/University will be some of the best experiences in your life.
Re: your additional details- I think the person(s) who say college at sixteen are British, their school system is different they go to college at sixteen and university (what Americans call college) at eighteen plus.
You go to a small private conservative, obviously nothing is going to happen, that sucks. College is nothing like high school. It is amazing... even more so now that I will be 21 reallll soon
people do it even more at college. I'm at uni in england and i've never partied so much in my life. In high school you're a bit more restricted because you are under age but in college you can do what you want.
Nah. college is the time of your life. college is about parties na dmaking friends, because once you get out in the world you have to work.
Well yeah, because when you go to college, your 16 and that's the age where people tend to have more fun!
Why do you think when people are on their 16th birthday, they start drinking alcohol and its called their "Sweet 16th"
