College Sports Teams?
Hi, I'm new to watching college sports. Do players on the WNBA have to have gone to that college? And can they still be a student? If you're on your state college's basketball team, do you get paid, or only if ur in the NBA/WNBA? Please answer if you know about this. Thanks.

It is against NCAA rules to recieve money or gifts while playing in college. If you are paid you are considered a professional and cannot play in college.
No, WNBA players do not have to have attended a college that was in the State that their professional team is in.
