Chase student checking account question?
The person at chase who helped me make a studentsl checking account said that their is no minimum ammount of oney that I have to have that as long as thier is nothing under one dollar, bt then i check my email and the following read" As of 01/05/2014 12:27:52 PM EST, the available account balance was $49.55, which is less than the minimum balance of $50.00 in your Alerts settings.".?
What does that mean, should i worry about it. The person who helped me create the checkings account told me that i dont have to have a minimum ammount of money jsut as lnog as i dont have under a dollar.
Im sixteen if that helps in anyway.

If you access your account online you can go into account alerts where you have set to be notified via email when you account balance is under $50.00 this has nothing to do with the $1.00 minimum set for you with a student checking account. Just simply change the account setting to any dollar amount you want i.e. $5.00, 10.00 which will help you track your balance.
