Oh yes! They are not gentle algae eaters they are omnivours. They have this nasty little habit of sucking the scales and slime coats off of sleeping fishes at night. I'll never own another one of those rotten ugly fish ever. A $7 pleco killed my $80 ranchu, so I'll never make that mistake again.
Yes, they are all territorial to some degree (can range from mildly aggressive to surprisingly hostile, depending on what species we're talking about. Common plecs are usually not too bad.
generally plecostomus are passive... but yes... they can be territorial... in my piranha tank I have a plecto that has kind of taken over the aquarium ornament as his own... whenever any of the piranha's try to go in he kicks them out... weird dynamic...

Yes, mature Plecos are Territorial, but it might also be because there isn't enough algae/food for both Plecos which could cause them to fight.

yes they can get a aggressive tors each other because of territory i had the same problem
ummmmmmm no i really dont think they can get aggressive!!!! they just suck on glass
