I can get 1000lbs of apples for $75, or 2000lbs of sugar beets for the same price. However, the price isn't really a factor, but what the deer would rather have.

I've already been tossing out downer apples from my own trees (fenced off, so they can't eat my trees), but those won't last much longer.
