My BMR is about 1,247 apparently and I heard cutting down 500 calories a day would help me lose 1-2 pounds a week. So if I do cut 500, I'll have 700 calories to eat, and I will try to burn around 500+ Calories when I workout. The thing is, 700cal is low and I don't want to slow my (already slow) metabolism even more down, so would this be okay to do? I'm a 15yr old, btw...

BMR is what you burn if you are laying still in bed all day doing nothing so you do not need to cut 500 calories from your BMR, you are supposed to cut 500 per day from your TDEE which is the amount you burn including activity.
Your TDEE will be higher than your BMR but how high will depend on your current height, weight and activity level and all of the calculators are only a guide.
A female under 21 should never eat less than 1500, a male under 21 never less than 1800 and that is often too little if you are quite active.
My BMR is 1100 but my TDEE is 1600 plus depending on how active I am that day, even then though I would never cut down by 500 because it is not safe to eat so little so in my case I would increase activity, burn 2000 and eat 1500 if I wanted to lose weight.
Calculate an estimate of your TDEE, if it is safe to do so you can cut by 500 per day, if that means eating below the 1500 for female or 1800 for male you will need to increase your activity level so you burn more from exercise.
The trick is not to cut down calories to the bone. It's to eat enough ! So you need to eat ever 2-3 hours. Could be a snack or a meal.
If you want to loose weight I recommend walking to stores, in parks, or around you neighborhood. Walk at a fast paste and keep those legs moving.

Of course it will. Why would u want to anyway? Its not healthy. Im in the medical field and we actually hospitalize anyone who needs fewer than 800 calories.
