What happens if YOU follow a ghost? I know there are a lot of questions about ghost following people, but my question is, what would happen if a person follow a ghost to a specific location? I am asking because one time my mom told me how at my dad's house, my brother was up in the middle of the night and apparently a ghost appeared to him and tried to disguise as my dad telling my brother to go to the garage with him. Apparently this happen at my dads room, because my brother told the ghost my dad was sleeping. Well anyway my brother stood and I do not know what happen after, I think either the ghost vanished or my dad woke up. So my question is, what would happen if a person follows a ghost for example my brother following the ghost to the garage, what would happen?

P.S. I may have an idea who the ghost is because my dad said the owner before him hanged himself in my dad's room. I would be thinking the in the ceiling fan, but I don't know though. Well anyway my dad has been living there for like 14 or 15 years and he said he never witness anything. When I was a little kid I stood in my dad's room and I never saw anything. My dad hired someone to work for him and he stood in the other room. Well he left because apparently he saw the ghost so he quit and left.
