I'm a junior in high school, taking mostly AP and Honor Classes. My unweighted GPA is about 3.4 to 3.5, while my weighted GPA is about a 3.8. I don't join much clubs due to some lack of interest and no support of parents though I did eventually form my own club to help people wanting to go into medical fields and doing volunteer services, so I'm the president of the club. I volunteered and worked as a tutor/teacher in the summers, but stopped working before high school started (is it worth it to mention in the application? will they use this as a factor to determine acceptance?) I live in California and is the first to be born in US. I would like to work in the medical field and maybe become a doctor. My PSAT score is about 1700, but I'm going to try and do better for the SAT.
Anyway I wanted to get others opinions in what colleges I should apply to and which ones will probably accept me. How big of a chance do I have for the IVY league one?
Is it true that you don't need to be a pre-med major in college before going to medical school?
Update:I would really appreciate a list of several colleges that you guys think I might be able to get into based on my scores.
I wasn't really planning to go to Ivy League schools, but it's just a thought.

You don't need to be a pre-med major in college because there is virtually no such major available (with a few dozen colleges as exceptions).
However, with your PSAT score and GPA, you have essentially no chance at the Ivy League. Most students only improve SAT scores from the PSAT score by about 100-200 points (200 is extremely rare and takes a lot of practice courses). The GPA is way too low. Go to collegeboard.com and do the college search engine. Find the schools that fit your criteria and go from there.
According to your explanation of yourself, you don't seem to have a good chance at the Ivy League schools. I would recommend going to Cappex.com. Cappex will allow you to input your information, then you choose a school, and it will tell you what your chances are of getting in.
Try your local community college.
