Okay, this has been going on for about 4 months now. My gf and i have been dating for almost 2 years but only recently has she had such a problem with my best friend. It all started a couple of months ago when we were all out at a party and she saw her "all over me", granted my best friend was rather drunk so i put it down to that and moved on but my gf cant seem to do the same. She says that she feels as if i care for her because i defended her actions and its not fair because she would have handled it in a different way. I'm just struggling to understand why this has hurt her to such an extent that by bringing my best friend up ends up with her in tears and a huge fight between us. I'm just very frustrated and don't know what to do other than completely distance myself from my best friend although i'm reluctant to do that as i find it rather unfair for me to have to choose. Can you offer any advice? The jealousy is killing our relationship.
