If you could recommend one book for someone with PTSD, what book would you recommend. I have the PTSD workbook by Mary Beth Williams, but I am looking for a book that explains PTSD and triggers and why I react to things the way I react to them. I guess if you could recommend a book that is like the Bible for PTSD, the one book you think everyone with PTSD should read, that would help me. Sometimes I understand why I react the way I do, what causes my trauma, but what I don't know is how to fix things. Please don't give rude answers, Thanks in advance for help.

Its not an omnipotent resource to use, but if you want a book on entertainment value I recommend:
bobbie ann mason - in country - its about a family from kentucky and a survivor of war and his struggles. That's one of the things in it. The movie version stars Bruce Willis.
Another one: Book - An Anthology by Tim O'Brien - The Vietnam Reader.
