Right, so at school I'm in the A set in my Science classes. A majority of the higher set (A*) are doing the Triple Science GCSE award and they invited people from my set to do it too (theres only the two of us now) instead of simply Dual award.
Because a majority of the A* set are doing Triple science, they get taught the extra-syllabuses in the lessons. And of course because only two of us are doing it in my class its not in the lessons - which I completely understand.
So how do the teachers expect me to do this extra GCSE? I have to teach myself. (Now lets all remember that I go to an all-girls private school, you'd think it'd be good right?)
They refuse to give me the extra worksheets and homeworks that I ask for but when the end of unit test comes they expect me to know it. Its all such a pathetic mess - in Biology (I have a smelly old prude for a teacher) she gives me 'competences' in which it tells me what to teach myself, with no worksheets. Just today in physics she gave me a sheet on momentum and made me go to the back of the class and do it under test conditions - the problem with that? I HAVE NO CLUE ON MOMENTUM, hell I wasn't even given a competence. Chemistry? Well compared to the others, my teachers like an angel! But he's not the best, and only gives me the odd worksheet and competence sheet - still better than the others though.
And the real kick in the a** of it all?
Its May; summer exams are in less than a month.
The teachers only began talking about triple science at the end of last term (March). And I have to teach myself everything Set A* were taught since September - even though they haven't given me their f*****g "competences".
WHAT SHOULD I DO? I'm not very good at complaining, how can I complain?
(oh, and you may wonder why I'm even bothering with this, blame it on the Asian parents wanting me to be a doctor; when their oldest two weren't. I'm sure you think I'm a terrible person, but, its complicated and irrelevant to the question)

Did your school explain that you would not be learning the content in lesson time when you volunteered to take triple science?
If so, then you're going to have to either do the work yourself or drop the course. If you want to carry on yourself, get yourself a good revision guide - there are quite a few you can get online if you do a google search. There is no need to carry on if you feel you are struggling - you don't need Triple Science even to become a doctor as Double Science is enough to carry on to any Science career or University course.
If they didn't warn you of this, you have every right to complain. You should speak to the Head of Science or your Head of Year first and calmly explain why you're struggling and what help you need to complete the course. If they don't listen then get your parents to write a letter to school.
